Project overview: The client is a family farmer with an organic farm shop in the South Durham village of Piercebridge and required a full rebrand of the business, to bring all marketing collateral together in a unified way. The Farmshop is one of the few which is truly organic in England, even stocking their own Longhorn Cattle. The design emphasis was on conveying a semi-modern approach to the brand, including a branding iron that utilised the original design stamp used on cattle in ancient farming.
The typeface and colour scheme were selected to blend in with the natural colours of the countryside, whilst being solid and bold enough to attract attention, but not out of place in the historic village of Piercebridge.
Design tasks: branding and logo mark design, stamp mark icon, stationery set design, village and shop signage, marketing assets, advert design, colour and typeface selection.
