The brief for their site was to reflect this high status image and must appeal to customers who regularly pay hundreds of pounds in one visit. So, hence the dark off-black and gold colour scheme which shouts 'quality'.

The site features many quirky details that are not apparent to the user unless they look for or stumble across them. For example, the music player slides down over the main animated logo area and then hides itself again when the user selects a track, thus avoiding clutter on the screen. The shopping bag will try to attach itself to your mouse if you move closely to the shopping button, thus attracting your attention and hopefully get you to spend money in the shopping cart area.
